No cardboard sleeves required These cups are sturdy and the insulted construction means you do not need cardboard sleeves to use them with hot drinks. They are a perfect size for our Keurig coffee maker. They have thick walls and do not give when held. The inside is smooth with a plastic like coating and the outside has a slight nap, similar to velvet.
