Move along if your looking for a great tasting cup of percolated coffee. This percolator makes weak coffee. After the coffee is percolated, I have to pour coffee back through the basked to get a decent cup of coffee. I checked the water temperature and it was 170 degrees the first time and 156 degree the second time, not hot enough. The actual perk time is very short. There is no way to adjust the brew time on the coffee making cycle. I have had several Presto percolators, after a while they were no better. If you like weak coffee and messes, this is perfect Not really possible to get anything but weak, pathetic coffee from this thing. It actually looks like tea (see photo).The problem is the percolating cycle shuts off once the coffee hits a certain temp, and this is always before it has percolated enough to extract any kind of body/flavor.
