Coffee Without the Carafe!

Cuisinart lets you have your coffee on demand! The Cuisinart DCC-3000 Coffee on Demand dispenses one cup at a time with an easy to use actuator. Hold up to 12 cups of coffee in the double-wall coffee reservoir. The easy to read coffee gauge lets you know how many cups of coffee are left, and the included charcoal water filter keeps your coffee tasting great. The DCC-3000 makes coffee easy– its fully programmable with 24-hour advance brew start, programmable auto shutoff, self-clean, and a 1-4 cup setting to brew smaller amounts that still taste delicious. Remove both the coffee and water reservoirs for easy clean up.

Note:Coffee grounds/particles are accumulating coffee container where the brewed coffee exits the container, which prevents the gasket from sealing correctly when the dispense lever is released. When/if this happens, the valve needs to be rinsed with tap water while holding the valve (located on the bottom of the container) open to flush any grounds/particles out.

This is because I have been burned by purchases before that are great at first and fall apart 3 months or so … I waited several months to write a review. This is because I have been burned by purchases before that are great at first and fall apart 3 months or so later. At first glance, this coffee maker is great! It brews hot coffee, apposed to a cheaper coffee maker and all parts are washable. Or, so I thought. The fact is that about 20% of the coffee reservoir cannot be accessed because it is blocked off by a rather silly implemented “float” mechanism that is supposed to show you…

The cord isn’t 2 inches long. Love love love this coffee pot!! And for the people that complained about a “2 inch cord” you have to pull the cord from the unit when you unpackage it. It’s retracted into the coffee maker. That’s what I did and as far as I know they don’t make models different from the other. And my cord is long enough to pull out from under the Cupboard without unplugging… Use your brain people…

If you enjoy cleaning up coffee off your counters and floors this … If you enjoy cleaning up coffee off your counters and floors this is the coffee maker for you. I have had this machine for about a year now and about a month ago the handle that is pressed to release the coffee began sticking in the open position. It drips out slowly but quickly fills up the catch tray and then begins its march across your counter and onto the floor so that when you get up in the morning you get to clean up the coffee rather than have a cup. Despite cleaning the inside to…
