Megan Selis RDH says:

Useful for glamping, hard to take off the lid when hot So in general, this kettle is fine. It boils water, makes decent camp coffee, works well on a camp grill or over the fire. However, what the heck were they thinking when they designed that tiny little nub lid handle?! It is impossible to take off the pot when it’s hot because the lid will feel like molten lava. So you try to get it off with an oven mitt, but that stupid knob is so small, it’s impossible to grab! Badly engineered by someone who spends most of his life gaming in the basement…

Piece of Junk: You’ve been warned! Okay, where do I even begin? There are so many issues with this perc that I don’t even know what to say.The lid is loose. It flies off all the time, and because of the material, it can easily chip crack or break. You have to hold it when pouring, but then it’s so hot to the touch that you burn yourself. The handle is also super hot to the touch after coffee is ready, so you can burn yourself without a potholder. The basket is really shallow, I don’t think it holds as much…

The Turk says:

No nonsense perk pot It works. The basket is smaller than I thought, and the lid is a bit too tight to remove easily, but it makes coffee. Finish is good and tough. Good piece for camping.
