Cold Brew Coffee – Simply The Best! 21 Jan 2018I make my own Cold Brew Coffee in both 1 and 2 Qt Mason Jars with filters. I use both the Cotton and Metal weave filters, depending what mood I am in (I like Variety). If you treat them both well, neither one will fall apart. It just takes a little more common sense and a little less brute force. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re going to make 8 cups at a time. I love that they sent the book with it, I didn’t read all of it, but the parts I read were interesting. The jar and filter fit perfectly, the seal fits perfectly. My only complaint is that there are little tiny sharp pieces of filter-wire that sometimes poke you. They can be really painful. You’ll never go back to retail cold brew! I’ve been using one of these for months now and absolutely love it. Just purchased this one for a friend who purports to love iced coffee but, horrendously, presently makes it using instant coffee!
