Unique among coffee substitutes I’ve tried 6 or 7 of the most popular instant-dissolving coffee substitutes, plus Coffig. Being a life-long coffee drinker, I’d say my first reaction to coffee substitutes is their weak taste and lack of body and fullness in the mouth, compared to a good ol’ Americano. The Coffig product is different in that you make it in a coffee maker or steep it in a tea-bag type arrangement (I use a French Press). It has much more body and roundness than the instant types, plus a very subtle sweetness…

I love this stuff I love this stuff. The Doc said no more caffeinated coffee. I used decaf but the acid still affected me. I have tried a lot of different hot beverage drinks including the Maya Nut beverage. This stuff rocks. I use a rounded table spoon in my drip coffee maker for 3 cups in my large coffee mug.. I add a 1/2 shot glass of my favorite coffemate creamer and wala….love the taste and on a cold morning it’s delicious….I hope you feel the same way after trying it. Also to clarify…I tried it…

If prepared right it is not bad and does have some coffee like qualities. Per preference, sweeteners and cream may make it that much better. I would say it’s better than Pero and I may buy it again.
