nice–especially the cups I have three other moka pots, and two of them are Bialettis made in Italy. This one seems to work as well. The real reason I wanted it, though, was the cups. The only other espresso/turkish coffee cups I have that I can use out in the field are enamel-coated steel, and although they won’t break, as soon as one of them is dropped, the enamel always chips. These are sturdy and seem to be coated with rubber.
Good little moka pot. Decent size. This product has been made to look great on the outside. It looks not as nice inside, especially in the area where you fill in the water. Mine also appeared to be a bit dirty so I washed all the parts. I wasnât too concerned being that this item is a new release. But it was a little odd the seal sticker was lifted up instead of being stuck in place. Anyway, the cups that are included are espresso cups and not as big as they seem (kinda was expected to be small and not a bad thing…
Moka, moka, moka My first moka pot had a slight defect in the threading (where you screw the top and bottom together), causing steam and some water to escape from the sides, leading to insufficient pressure in the base to push water all the way out into the top half. I tried a bunch of things and emailed the Coffee Gator people. They responded pretty quickly and after just a couple of emails, shipped me a new moka pot (2-day shipping!).Unpacked the second moka pot and it works perfectly…
