Expensive and obscure ingredients for cocktails you will never make Let’s just take a look at some of the “Recommended Bar Tools” from this book, and then you can see if this is for you. Shaker. OK. Bar spoon. Gotcha. Atomizer? Uhh .. Whipping siphon? No … Japanese cold drip coffee machine? Dehydrator to make “dusts” and “chips?” Electric juicer centrifuge for ginger extracts? … yeah …This is clearly a cocktail book for those with unlimited time and resources. It is full of “unobtainium” ingredients like…

If you prefer photos over actual drinks, this might be a title for you… Here we go – another book of recipes that are impractical to the point of being useless. While it does have some great photographs, and a very few practical recipes if you’re willing to spend time with it, the esoteric ingredients and arcane preparation methods quickly eclipse those few good points.For a book which is not simple but still useful check , and for something that will please everyone…
