Defective lids – leak grounds and water everywhere Victor Allen is once again experiencing serious quality control issues with their coffee pods. Last year it was the Donut Shop variety, now it’s the Caramel Macchiato. The foil lids peel off while the coffee is in the brewing process, causing coffee grounds and hot water to spew out the top of the brewer and all over the counter. Have had 3 out of 5 pods malfunction. I like this brand and wanted to give them another chance, but I’m done with them. Very poor quality control.
I should have listened to the reviews 🙁 Yesterday I read the reviews that said this coffee tasted like water etc….but I tend to judge things on my own. Boy oh boy lol sure wished in this instance that I listened to the reviews. I placed the order yesterday and received the “coffee” a few minutes ago. I was so excited because I love Caramel Macchiato at coffee shops. I ran my box into my kitchen and popped the K-cup into my Keurig machine and Blahhhhhhhh ð¤ð¤¢ tasted like a cup of flavored Hazelnut water! Doesn’t taste anything like…
Delicious We enjoy the Caramel Macchiato K-Cups. I’ve been buying different Victor Allen’s K-Cups for several months and this is probably one of our favorites. Our other favorite brand was causing difficulties because the foils were spilling out coffee in the machine causing us to hold our breath with each brew. Not a single problem with this brand and for the price it’s quite tasty. Just remember to set your machine for 8 oz for a great cup of coffee.
