“Copper” film came off after 2 uses. Beautiful product. First disappointment was that I wanted an all stainless Steel which was my previous coffee maker for 15 years. The part which holds the coffee is aluminum.The main problem that the “Cooper Chrome Finish” is not that. It seems to be just a colored plastic film which came off after 2 uses. Beautiful but not usable.

I wrongly assumed the bottom was not stainless because it was strongly magnetic. It turns out that it is in fact stainless steel, and has become magnetic during the forming process.
