How to Choose Mylar Heat Sealer?

There are two main types of sealers: (1) impulse sealer and (2) direct heat sealer. You also need to consider warm-up time, sealing width, bag materials and speed.

Three Reasons You Should Use KF-Series Constant Heat Sealer:

Constant heat (215F – 350F) in both jaws and use power as long as the machine is turned on. As a result, direct heat sealers possess better heat penetration and are very capable to seal thicker material. For materials such as coated aluminum foil, polycello films, gusset bags, coated Kraft paper, waxed paper, cellophane, mylar, coated PP, and other thicker materials. Applications like roasted coffee bag sealing, Kraft paper tea or standup pouch find KF sealer better suited than impulse. If sealing width is a consideration to you, you should go with constant heat sealer. Most direct heat sealer seals with 5/8-inches sealing width.

How to Choose the Sealing Length?

The size of the sealer depends on the width of the material to be sealed. We usually recommend adding 1/2 – 1 inch to the width of material to be sealed for easier handling.
