Full Body, with a Deep, Rich Chocolaty Flavor, and a Clean Finish. Smooth Milk Chocolate, with Notes of Honey, Caramel and Cocoa. Organic Certified. This Coffee is an exceptional Honduran coffee from the Marcala region. No chemical inputs are used. The cherries (fruit of the coffee bean), are composted and used as fertilizer, along with vermiculture, and fewer insects are present at the altitude that it’s grown, so no insecticides are necessary. If there ever is a bug problem, farmers sometimes plant peppers as a repellent. The coffee is very dense, and thus has depth of flavor and we are able to roast it just right to bring out its natural flavor characteristics and a wonderful sweetness. All our coffees are roasted fresh to order in multiple small batch roasters (30-60 kilos) at our facility in Miami. We are a family of growers and roasters, laser-focused on quality, and because of our volume and innovative model, we are able to deliver an excellent quality 100% organic coffee, at a price that represents a considerable value. Great Coffee don’t need the Rocks I have been buying this Light roast for over a year and a half and I continue to love it. However, one bag had a rock mixed in to the beans and I did not catch it. Well one morning during the bean grinding, I heard one hell of a noise from the bean grinder. By the time I got to the grinder to shut it off it had eaten the whole rock. My grinder never worked right again. I have to run it twice on 20 seconds now to get enough grounds for my coffee maker. The rock must have dulled the Burr…

Light Roast is for caffeine not flavor If you are educated on beans, roasting levels, how roasting levels correlate to flavor, how roasting levers correlate to caffeine levels and why to choose organic beans – then this coffee is awesome! Light roasts have tons more caffeine at the expense of flavor. Dark roasts have tons of flavor at the expense of the caffeine level. Coffee plants are THE most pesticide-laden crop in the world. Organic beans were raised without pesticides, which is what you want.

We love love love this coffee We love love love this coffee!! So nice to be able to buy organic coffee in a huge bag instead of those little bags at the grocery store for $8 a pop. We got a nice little grinder too 🙂 Love having a big bag and it is so so yummy 🙂 When we start getting low, we will definitely buy again 🙂
