NOT at all what I had hoped, it only … NOT at all what I had hoped, it only keeps coffee hot for about 2 hrs if that and only because I put boiling water in it while I made the pot. Not worth it if you want it for HOT liquid. Keeps cold very well though.

The leak caused dribbling during pouring, all down the pouring side, creating a mess on our office kitchen counter. We had to return it, and went back to a Zojirushi thermal carafe.
Bad carafe and no warranty to speak of I bought four of these carafes in 2016 and 2 of them have failed thus far in less than a year. I bought 2 carafes at first and I liked the design and they held the heat really well so I bought 2 more for gifts. After 9 months of every day use the first one failed loosing its vacuum.
