Not charred in the least. A beautiful, deep, oily roast. Possibly the best Full City batch I’ve ever seen or tasted. Wonderful. Yep, I’m going with five stars on CharBeanz. I’ll say this, though – – calling this exceptional product “CharBeanz” may not be in the best interests of the Don Pablo product line. Why? Because these beans are NOT charred. They are not carbonized, as some French-roast beans can be. Rather, they are a lovely and very deep mahogany color, gleaming with oils. It is a true Full City roast. My 2-lb. bag is about as close to perfection as I’ve experienced in a South- or Central-American blend…
A fine tasty brew at a modest price. I have ordered this coffee three times and have not been disappointed. It has a rich, full body, a strong yet complex taste, and when it’s brewing, the pleasant aroma fills the house. Because of my experience with this vendor I have ordered other coffees, including Subtle Earth, Colombian Supremo, signature Blend and Espresso, and have found them better than anything else on the market. Most excellent Blending together of some great quality beans This is by far and away the freshest batch of beans I have ever recieved from on line ordering. That alone by itself sets them apart from the other roaters I’ve ordered from. Most excellent Blending together of some great quality beans. First order of which , I hope their formula remains consist because I do like the blend I recieved.
