Flimsy workmanship Well, my wife and I bought this thinking it would be a nice piece. I was wrong! My wife likes it but it is very cheaply made. The piece that allows you to open the seat and have it stay open busted the first time we opened it and closed it. I wanted to return it but my wife was okay that piece not working. So I took the piece off and now it sits in family room. I just home no one sits on it because it seems so flimsy that it will break after one or two weeks of use. We will see.
Scratched when I opened the box from metal parts Color is disappointing. Very dull brown not a rich brown like the photos. Looks like particle board with veneer. Front-facing back rest was completely scratched. Too much of a hassle to return, so I have covered it with pillows.Assembly was easy since I have assembled a lot of furniture but the instructions were not great.
We’ll was not sure how sturdy it would be We’ll was not sure how sturdy it would be…But after my husband put it together in 1 hour and 10 min.we both sat on it and smiled, its perfect so smooth in the finish and the side support handle bars are so sturdy..It fits great in the hall ,coming from outside to drop Grocery bags on it or simply change Shoes,Boots .WE feel it was a wise reasonable priced good looking piece of Furniture….5 STAR for sure..Furniture Stores sell the same for350,00 dollars…No Mistake here…Thank you…
