Nice grinder, don’t care for the doser The grinder is great, the doser is not useful for me. I don’t want to grind my beans until I’m ready to make my espresso, so I don’t like the idea of grinding a bunch of coffee into a doser ahead of time.I also don’t want to leave my unground beans in the grinder.Fortunately, I don’t have to do either with this grinder. Don’t judge this book by its cover. Professional grade guts will last a lifetime. Just like my Gaggia Classic, the MDF is a solid piece of professional grade equipment. Don’t be fooled by the fancy designs of a Breville or Cuisinart. Gaggia may look plain, but the guts are professional quality, the same as you will find in professional Italian equipment. Most mass-produced consumer appliances will last 1-2 years. I owned a Cuisinart and a Breville espresso maker that each lasted 2 years before they had to be replaced. My Gaggia Classic is now 3 years old and still like new…
