Taste is muted, smooth, not bitter, but item was received with near term expiration The taste of this coffee is pretty smooth, not bitter. The grind is pretty fine. I generally like the taste, however my primary concern is that the order I received has only four months left until expiration. I see others have received this item with 1+ years prior to expiration. I donât drink coffee every day so this three pack is less a value to me due to the short expiration date.
Smooth flavor My favorite coffee. This is what I used to buy in Germany. Itâs on the high end of the coffee spectrum there. My local store in the US stopped carrying it and the specialty store charges too much. So glad I found it on amazon at a reasonable price. So much better than the average grocery store stuff. I use it in my French press for best flavor.
Not good this batch I have been buying this coffee for some time. Normally has a deep rich nutty flavor. This batch was just flat. No depth of favor and no nutty component. I don’t know if it was just this batch or they have change their blend. I hope just a poor batch or its not worth the price. It reminds me of the coffee from a popular doughnut store. When I was growing up I thought the coffee was best part of the experience. Then they changed it for the worse.
