Lovely piece but forget about having Amazon set up assembly! The buffet is lovely and just was I was hoping for. It took 2 men three hours to assemble, but so worth it. I will definitely be enjoying this for a few years to come. The biggest disappointment was adding the Amazon offered assembly service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! On the scheduled day of assembly I received an email stating the job was “too big” for the price quoted and the service was cancelled. Nice Buffet I have been looking for something to replace an old brass baker’s rack that I’ve had for a long time and this is what I settled on. The price fluctuated up and down over the last few months and I decided that it reached a price I was willing to pay for it.I opened the package in my garage (thankfully) because there is a lot packing material and lots of Styrofoam bits. It was a pain!!!… But it was worth it!!! First off… I’ve TONS of stuff from Amazon over the years! But this is the first review I’ve ever written! That being said, this piece of furniture is awesome! My fiancé may not agree just yet considering it took him about two days to put together (probably a total of eight hours or so). But even he had to admit it’s a solid piece and very beautiful. And for less than $300…. You couldn’t ask for more! My table is actually oak and black… Sooo I may paint the natural part black if I decide…
