They don’t taste like dirty hippies. OMG!!! It’s actually good! I have tried just about every natural/paleo-friendly protein bar on Amazon. Most were horrific, a few were tolerable. This is the VERY FIRST flavor I have ever liked. The Atlas chocolate is just okay, but this vanilla almond is genuinely good. If you’re tired of eating stuff that tastes like dirty hippies, give these a shot. Though, I must confess I’m a little curious why they call the flavor “Vanilla Almond” when it would be much more accurate to…

taste and texture don’t do it for me.. I eat protein bars as breakfast replacements a few days a week (and if I’m traveling/hiking). I’ve made it through about half a box of these bars. I like the ingredients, but not the taste/texture. The bars are rather hard and chewy, and they smell like artificial vanilla and cinnamon. They’re a little too sweet for me as well. Maybe chocolate is better, but I don’t want to pay $36 to find out. I may be spoiled by Pottentia bars – they are easily better as far as taste and texture goes (perhaps…

I feel like they hit the right balance between erythritol & stevia Because I’ve been watching the Winter Olympics … these bars get 9.0 for nutrition and 9.5 for taste. I down them either a breakfast on the run, a pre-or-post workout protein infusion, or just dessert while watching tv at night. I’ve probably scanned the nutrition labels on 50 energy bars over the past few years, and these bars give you everything you want and just about nothing you don’t, other than a few extra calories (220) per bar than maybe I need.
