Clean simple design that produces good results, but chaff that fell down the vent in the roasting chamber is problematic Since this arrived, I’ve used it twice. Operation is simple but it does require quite a bit of effort and patience to use. The owners manual recommend you let the machine sit for 10 minutes to completely cool off supposedly for your safety but most likely to give the machine time to cool off properly between use. The manual also require you to empty the chaff top and clean the filter after every use. I take this to mean between batch because the screen above the chaff trap gets clogged with…

Great roaster Great roaster. I see a lot of comments about longevity, so we’ll see how that plays out, but so far so good. Very little smoke or smell. Nice even roast. I love that chaff collector! I was surprised how much chaff comes off of a few ounces of beans. And it collects all in the nice cup and not getting blown all over my kitchen. Plus a nice bonus that the removable parts are dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a snap. Just don’t dip the part with the electronics in water–duh.I can…

Home roaster approved This is the third one of these roaster I have owned and I like the way it works. I like a city plus roast and it is fine. Auger keeps beans moving and roast even. Be sure to keep clean for a longer life.
