KALDI Fortis Coffee Roasters are designed with a high heat convection heat ratio by providing a heat shield of drum-type to enhance hot air and proper conduction heat distribution.
Our roasting machine is not only a simple hot conduction heat generated by heating drum conducted heat.
S type blades and a heat shield between the burner and the drum to deliver generated hot air flows to the inside through backside of the drum.
The way that the current orientation of the increases the proportion of convective heat(solid drum)formula trends.

Heat Shield
The heat source expands convective heat by creating an air flow without heating the drum directly.

Two high performance temperature sensor.
One was installed in a point easily measuring the temperature of the bean, another is to install a exhaust part.

Can be seen in real time by measuring two points in one measurement sensor dual display thermometer.
If you select the data logger as an option, Artisan software is available using usb.

The doors and trays are made of cast Al.
It can easily emission the front, provide a perfect foil for the Fortis.
User can often determine the roasting conditions with sight glass view to the roasting process and the sampler.

We recommend buying with the ‘KALDI Chaff Collector&Cooler’.
