Roaster works as promised , but whether it will pay for itself ….. , jury is still out . I like the theory behind this âCoffee Roasterâ , but it has 2 innate problems with roasting coffee , in particular. 1st , coffee has Husk when you roast it and the toaster does not separate the two. So you will have to separate the two , when you either bag or jar your roasted coffee . 2nd , Roaster is made cheaply , so you will have to coddle the machine when roasting , moving or cleaning . Small Batches Are Perfect! My wife and I have been experimenting with batches from 85g to 300g and many different temperature settings. We have found the results will vary based on the type of bean but our most perfect roast was 85g of green beans, at 220 degrees, for 16 minutes.
