Well, its what I’ve been through over those 2 years. In that time, I’ve had to send it back for repair, twice. Great Espersso maker with one big problem only showing up when you descale the unit When it works it is a fantastic espresso which is why it gets 3 stars.Since I bought the machine a couple of years ago I have had a lot of issues related to descaling. The fist unit received had a now well known design issue. The descaling process got stuck in the program and it could not get the water temperature over 161 F. Normally it should go to the normal operational temperature of 199F. This prohibited they use of the machine after descaling.Breville exchange the unit…

I have had several espresso machines and this is my favorite I have tried several different espresso makers and this is my favorite. My second favorite is Nespresso machines, Tossing away so many capsules bothered me as did the significant increases in Nespresso coffee prices over time. I still use my Nespresso some of the time.
