I can say that I got a reasonable life out of the machine but the last year things have been going downhill. I now need to shop for a new coffee maker and I am shying away from purchasing this one again. I think I would spend a little more money to get something better. I have tried and still trying new things in order to brew without the grinds in the decanter pot! I used less and lesser grinds till no overflow of grinds in the pot! I tried putting grinds in the 12 cup filter than relining the grinds with a new filter to act like a sealed compartment! Nothing can help the crazy water flow tube which is 3 3/4″ with two rows…
