Stopped working after 4 months Worked great for the first 4 months. Now the basket doesn’t recognize that the carafe is there, so if you don’t watch it while it’s brewing, it won’t drop into the carafe and backs up into the water reservoir. We will be seeking a replacement or reimbursement.Update: After posting my review, the manufacturer replaced the entire thing. It’s been going strong ever since! Simple, easy, and makes a good cup. It’s a 12 cup Black, and Decker coffee pot! Do I need to say more? Naturally. My personal issue with most coffee pots these days is they all have this stupid auto-turnoff function for energy saver purposes. Other than that? Pretty well rounded. Makes a good cup of coffee. Easy to program, works well so far So far so good on this coffee maker. It is a replacement for one that is several years older, also a B&D. I like the simple programming and time functions, it is very straightforward and easy to use. The brew cycle is somewhat slow, as the water is pumped into the basket in slower, less forceful bursts, and then must filter down through the coffee and filter.
