We’re Good Earth and we make tea. But we don’t just stick to the ordinary stuff. We seek out the exotic. The unexpected. The moments where you can really let loose. Because that’s what tea should do. And so that’s how we make it. We’ve been at this for 40+ years, planting our roots in the 1970s with our Sweet & Spicy which went from a local favorite to a country-wide “tell my friends but don’t take mine” tea. Good Earth now has teas that span all sorts of tea varietals, herbs, botanicals and flavors … naturally good things carefully chosen and masterfully blended together for a one-of-a-kind taste experience.

Weird Flavor – Don’t Buy! I don’t like writing bad reviews and I really LOVE Good Earth’s Sweet & Spicy cinnamon tea, but I have to say “Starry Chai” is weak sauce. It tastes like a yellow crayon dipped in warm water. There is no depth to this tea, it is watery even if you try using up to 2-3 bags per cup. It’s more like chamomile tea with an off flavor. Additionally, when I go back to try it again I sense my body saying ‘don’t drink that nasty stuff!’. So, if you’re looking for chai tea, this ain’t it at all…

Phil Nissen says:

Just not the same Unfortunately the Good Earth people decided to mess up a good thing in discontinuing old “Chai” recipe. This version has added some fruitiness which just does not get the former, IMHO, more Indian flavor of the original. “Sweet Child of Mine” is another “attempt” but with added stevia with an aftertaste that I find cloying. I have switched to Tazo !

The taste is somewhere between cough medicine and a gummi bear you found stuck to the bottom of your shoe.it is a replacement for 7 spice chai(discontinued) Many of the reviews are for the original 7 spice chai, which was the BEST chai tea commercially available.
