Works Great If… This is a great item to have on my desk to keep my coffee warm. There is one thing I’ve found (at least in my experience) the plate gets nice and hot but you need a cup with a smooth flat bottom to get maximum heat transfer. A normal coffee mug that has a ring around the outer edge and the middle is domed up so it doesn’t touch the table doesn’t transfer the heat very well and though it does keep it from getting cold it’s barely warm.
