A Visual Treat! Book time! I have been voraciously reading, it is the time of year where I go deep into the books and tend not to come out again until spring. Today’s book is The Tea Book by Linda Gaylard and by one of my favorite publishers, DK. See, DK has a tendency to publish really pretty books, their book on Gemstones is still a classic favorite, but this is about tea and not rocks. From the moment I cracked open the book I was impressed with the visuals, it is beautiful! But looks alone do…

couldnt recommend a better book as an importantly visually lush introduction … As a certified tea specialist, couldnt recommend a better book as an importantly visually lush introduction to this immense & wonderful topic, all that is needed are the aromas, tastes and textures for the reader to explore. The author put an enormous amount of care into this and simply cannot cover everything, but what an excellent stary for beginners and resource for those experienced in the tea world, whether as a grower, retailer, teacher, enthusiast … well done and thank you!

Loved it! Loved it!! It is perfect for everyone and not only beginners. It has a lot of recepies, history, country by country tea explanation, produce process, blends, infusion, cups styles, maps….everything!! It is super friendly and has also photos of leaves so you can compare them easily and recognize them later.Easy to read. I just read it in an afternoon. I would only change the order of some of the subjects a bit.
