I must have my own copy! I bought this as a gift. Thumbing through it before I wrapped it I knew I had to have my own copy!!! The recipes are simple (4 ingredients or less) and there is even a “shopping list” so you don’t have to write out all of the different ingredients…they are there for you!! I am not a connoisseur of mixed drinks, but I do like salty, spicy, and dry. I highly recommend this book to add to your shelf.
The best thing about this book is it’s Simple! The biggest plus with this book, in my opinion, is that the drinks are nice and fancy but simple. I wanted to experiment with drinks since i enjoy culinary things and this book seems perfect for someone just learning and to impress company. I really love the fact that it gives you an overview of the spirits and it breaks down things for people like me who are not bartenders and know nothing about drinks. I love it.
THE home bar tending book! This was exactly what I was looking for – cocktail recipes that donât have too many ingredients, and donât require you to purchase weird one-time-use-only ingredients. I liked this book so much that I bought a dozen for friends for Christmas, and they all loved it as well!
