I’ll try making sure I didn’t put too much water in it next time, and keep a better eye on how the water is boiling. Maybe I let it boil too high and the bubbles/water shoved some of the grounds out. Works great! Awkward handle system. Have not used it camping yet, but have tried it on my electric stove using regular Folger’s coffee. Worked great and first try resulted in coffee that seemed to taste better than regular coffee ran through a machine and paper filter. A few grains got in, but not bad.Only reason it’s not 5-star is due to the awkward handle design; you have to use two hands and an oven mitt to pour. Pretty sure I’m going to forget to pack oven mitts when I go camping..

Thin material so yes it could dent easily. Use course ground coffee Worked on the first batch! Thin material so yes it could dent easily.Use course ground coffee. Boil on High until you see coffee bubbling to the top through the clear plastic lid insert. Then turn the heat down and boil another ten minutes and you’re good to go.
