Does NOT LEAK. Only overflows when you don’t empty pot from last brew. I see a lot of reviews saying this thing leaks. I bet money anybody saying this just forgot to empty the pot first. It’s happened to me twice too. Here’s how it happens: Make coffee; don’t finish entire pot; forget; make coffee again; pot overflows. You’re trying to put 10 cups of water into a 10 cup pot that already had 3 cups in it (for example). IT’S SO EASY TO ACCIDENTALLY DO THIS because you can’t see in the pot and you don’t use the pot to refill the water. There’s a separate water…

Works great once you get past the initial strong plastic smell (taste) I read the reviews on this and many other coffee makers before ordering, so I was prepared for some of the things other reviewers didn’t like. When the product was first plugged in, the control panel didn’t respond. We looked it up and used the “unplug for 20 minutes and plug back in” method which fixed the problem. We’ve had it two weeks and it functions perfectly. I love that you fill the reservoir from the faucet rather than trying to pour water from the carafe into the top. As…

Coffee maker was defective but customer service was great! This is the second 10 cup model that I have owned the first lasted about 1.5 years. This didn’t work from the first. It would leak a small amount of coffee with each pot made. I called the manufacturer to see if I may have been doing something wrong. They listened to my story and after I gave then some numbers off the unit told me that they would replace it. Since they did not have any of the 10 cup in stock, they sent me the 12 cup unit.
