TOO large for 4 cup coffee maker I ordered this for my 4 cup coffee maker, as it was stated as such! What I received was very large packets, maybe meant for a 12 cup coffee maker. The box stated 0.7 oz size, BUT these will NOT fit inside my 4 cup filter basket – they are very large & we had to bunch the packet into the basket…making the basket filled to the top with it. Then we were unable to use the pause & pour feature because the coffee was not going thru the coffee & it was starting to overflow. Very disappointed…
This size seems to be designed for 2-cup hotel-room coffee makers Other reviewers have mentioned this issue, but I didn’t actually read the reviews before placing my order….The size of these filter packs seems to be intended for 2-cup hotel-room coffee makers. There doesn’t appear to be as much coffee in each filter pack as in the filter packs one can buy at the grocery store. I’ve found with the filter packs I buy at the store, I can make 2-1/2 large mugs of strong coffee, With these filter packs, purchased in bulk, I can only make 1 large mug of strong…
There was something wrong with this batch . . . We’ve bought these before both at the grocery and through Amazon and usually, we’ve been pleased. We went to using these for the benefit of my mother, who lives with me and has Alzheimer’s Disease in its mid stages. Making coffee is one of the little things she does as her part around the house.
