TORN BETWEEN TWO Am now on my second or third Kilo of Kick Ass…… After first finding Kick Ass, I continued to try other coffees and roasts in a search for “my preferred coffee”. I still have other coffees yet to try, but have tried quite a few different high rated coffees… Some were good and some I gave away…. I do know what I want now in a coffee and roast… I want it all !!!! Now is that too much to ask ????? I grind my own beans and use a good brewer with no burner to scorch my coffee…
Inconsistent First bag was great. Looked like regular beans and tasted good. Ordered a second bag which looked liked it was swimming in some kind of oil. The smoke flavor was waaaaaay too strong on the second bag. I’ve never licked the inside of a week old cigarette ash tray but that’s what I felt like I was doing when drinking coffee from the second bag. I just threw the rest away. Not worth the headache of buying again.
Finally found a Dark Roast worthy of 5 stars! After trying several different brands of Dark Roast coffee, I’ve FINALLY found one that is truly 5 stars.Note: I make this coffee in my AeroPress and it tastes A-mazing! I used to be a 2-3 cup per day coffee drinker, but after I started drinking KHC Dark Roast, I only drink 1 cup per day. Definitely caffeinated! For reference, here are some other brands I’ve tried:la Madeleine: French Dark Roast: 8.5/10Starbucks: Espresso Roast: 8 / 10Dunkin: Dark…
