Another InSinkErator poor design flaw. Leaky pipe under the sink. This is the third InSinkErator hot water system I’ve had to replace in five years. The first one had the handle break off. The 2nd one, from just over a year ago, was the HOT100 model (very similar to this one) and the push button switch jammed and we could never unjam it to turn off the flowing hot water. The tank was still good so we decided to take a 3rd chance and bought this newer twist handle model to replace the HOT100 because we could keep and use the old tank still installed. This…

it is a crucial part that is necessary and would have been nice for them to include it Just installed it myself yesterday. Be aware this does not come with the adapter to attach it to the main water line. While the packaging does state that, it is a crucial part that is necessary and would have been nice for them to include it. Four trips to the hardware store and many hours of my time later it works fine. However it gets nowhere near 190° or or 200° it appears to have maxed out at 175°. If we didn’t prefer the convenience of having instant hot water out of never gone through…

Great product, very useful My husband bought this for me for Christmas. We had to reconfigure how the disposal was turned on/off and buy a new faucet to give us access to the other holes in the sink to be able to install and use this hot water dispenser.Cons: required electrical and plumbing reconfiguration, sizzled a spit hot water initially for no apparent reason, is a tanked hot water heater instead of a tankless that we’d hoped forPros: I love it! We use it for hot chocolate, herbal tea,…
