Cheap, ineffective, what a joke! I ordered this pot because it was the only one that said it would do 12 cups. What a light-weight POS!First, the description says “Three-ply construction maximizes heat distribution for even cooking; ” There is no three-ply! It is simply stamped metal – not even sure it is steel – with an epoxy coating!Second, “safe, unbreakable copolyester dome ” is a fancy way of saying the dome is plastic and ill-fitting at that! What a joke! It does not even thread in…

Aluminum Foil-esque JUNK! HORRIBLE PRODUCT! Rubbish Quality. Stem and basket were barely thicker than aluminum foil. Lid could have been held on better with a paper clip. Listen to the 1 and 2 star reviews. I have no idea how this company sells this garbage or who in their company approved the absolute pathetic quality. I hope it falls off the return truck and gets hit by multiple passing vehicles. Really, GSI? You’re charging $25+ dollars when you should be paying people to take these off your hands.

Terrible product Junk. Lid hinge is held with a flimsy piece of aluminum, basket and stem are the same flimsy material. GSI, the reason your customers want steel and not soda can material is we need a durable product that doesn’t release toxic chemicals at high temperature, aluminum is neither. I will be returning this and will never buy another product from GSI.
