Well-made percolator….great cup of coffee. This is my first experience owning a percolating coffee maker. We’ve had traditional, plastic, top-drip style, coffeepots for years. I didn’t expect such a drastic improvement in taste. The bitter aftertaste I’ve grown accustomed to is gone. I don’t know if it’s the completely stainless steel interior or the percolating style of brewing, but I’m a believer. Doesn’t quite get 5 stars I’ve never owned a percolator so I relied heavily on reviews. I wanted a smaller one, and I wanted no plastic. No coffee makers like the Farberware percolators – love ’em! I’ve tried so many coffee makers, and never found one that was so hot that once cream was added, it didn’t have to be microwaved.
