Would buy again. We were looking for a coffee maker for occasional use for family reunions, showers, etc. This is a nice size, and the coffee tasted good from the stainless steel, unlike the aluminum ones we’ve used for years. The box states that the cord is detachable, but the unit we received does not appear to have that feature. It wasn’t a problem. It cleaned up nicely after our first use. We presumed the stainless 30 cup maker would arrive ready … We presumed the stainless 30 cup maker would arrive ready to go – except the spigot was put on backwards, right on top of the power cord. Absolutely unusable. I did not have a special tool to reverse it so our 50th reunion party required our hustling 2 other small coffee pots over. DON’T BUY from Elite Cuisine – no apology, no offers to make things right. You could be the next one
Not top of the line, but great value for the price This is not close to top of the line product, but for the price and size one of the best deals around. The water doesn’t have an after taste as I had read in many reviews of non-stainless steel coffee urns. It does get hot as it is not an expensive $100-200 coffee urn. I used it for a fundraiser for my daughter to heat water to make hot chocolate and instant saimin (ramen). It worked perfectly fine.
