The Carlisle XT250001 Cateraide brown polyethylene beverage server holds up to 2.5 gal. of liquid and maintains the beverage’s temperature, whether hot or cold, for an extended period of time and is NSF listed. Two ergonomic handles facilitate transport, and the convex lid and O-ring seal prevent leaks when transporting the server as well as when pressure builds as the beverage is dispensed. The lid attaches securely to the body with wide plastic latches that are mounted into steel reinforcement plates for durability. The dripless faucet uses spring action to return to the closed position when released, preventing spills.
The dispenser can be stacked with other Cateraide servers or with servers of other brands to save space when storing or when used with other dispensers. The body and lid are made of durable polyethylene that resists stains and scratches, and the thick polyurethane foam insulation preserves the beverage’s original temperature. The inside of the container has rounded corners to facilitate cleaning. The overall dimensions are 17 x 10-1/2 x 18-1/2 inches (L x W x H). 9++ hours of staying hot! These are AMAZING! I used them for an event with a hot beverage. The beverage was still hot 9 hours later…so hot that I had to wait a bit for it to cool down before drinking it. I highly recommend these to keep beverages hot
Practicality of design gives edge over Cambro. Our company uses thermal servers like these on a regular basis. We’ve always used Cambro brand with good luck. Now having used these Carlisle’s along side the Cambro, can say we prefer the Carlisle for a few reasons. The latches are much more heavy duty. Cambro latches break off easily. The vent is a super common style that can be replaced off of a water bottle from any store if need be. The volume is a true 5 gallons compared to the comparable Cambro which is 4 3/4 gal.
