Just let it sit and dry out before trying to get all the leaves out. Then knock the top flat in your sink or what ever and the junk will fall right out. Best brew baskets EVER–have held up for over a year with zero problems I cannot tell you how much these are loved in my everyday routine. The mesh is superfine, the best I’ve ever encountered.
