Yum! After another one of my drip coffee makers broke, I decided to get a stovetop percolator that had no parts that could break down. I had never used one so I watched videos online. I finally saw one video where the man said that he let his simmer for 15 minutes so that’s what I tried. I add more than 1 Tbsp…

Fabulous and simple and easy to take apart Fabulous and simple and easy to take apart, clean and put back together. No plastic, no filters needed, but coffee does have to be ground coarser which I haven’t mastered with our grinder. Fortunately, Costco’s grinder can be set to percolator and then I have a whole bag of ground coffee that works just right.

Perfect camping percolator Sturdy percolator with a easy grip handle. Handle does get a little warm when percolating but, if you use a pot holder you can’t really feel the heat. You have to be careful when pouring so it doesn’t come through the top. And if you don’t want a lot of grinds in your coffee cup then it is best if you take out the grinds basket before pouring. You will still have minimal grinds in the bottom of the pot, but they won’t affect the taste of your coffee.
