Excellent leather. Strong clasp. Nice size for handbag. Masculine. Have been using fairly frequently since I received over a month ago. Perfect handbag size. Durable. Beautiful dark brown real leather that wears so well. I clip my pen to it. I stuff papers in it. String clasp. Contains a couple small plastic holders for cards, clips, sticks of gum, etc. Has come in so handy. Didn’t realize I would use it so much. Nice leather; good desigh, very well constructed and useful Unbelievably useful – not fussy about journals but loving the soft sturdy “squishy” feel of the reasonably thick leather and the common sense approach to the design of this little book – protective beads on the spine and the meta end caps covering the elastic; the sturdy stud closure; the customization.Carrying it everywhere to write little notes and stuff in receipts and so on. And getting more for gifts – along with some mini-pens to go with.
