Needs improvement I ordered this Floating Basket after years of using the regular Finum filters figuring it would be neat to have a closed basket where it wouldn’t matter if it fell over in the cup (my regular, daily-use cup is jumbo size with plenty of space for a filter to tumble over).However, I found this item to be somewhat disappointing. The lid doesn’t close tightly enough and as soon as the water level rises to the rim, the lid lifts just a tiny bit and lets tea leaves through to free-float…

The best filters for very fine loose leaf teas The first finum filter I purchased was the medium brew basket. I was recommended by friends to use it to brew in a teapot.
