They may call it an Espresso machine but I call it a Cuban coffee maker I like this machine. I purchased it to make Cuban coffee. It takes a little experimentation with it to work right but once you get zeroed in on the right amount of water, coffee and the right tamp the results are fantastic. I now make the best Cuban coffee. This machine is easy to use and clean. I might even try making espresso and latte’s (which it is really designed to make). Love this machine Makes great coffee with perfect crema. Very easy to use. With that, it is a $120 machine with limitations. In my opinion, the coffee it makes can be as good as a coffee house coffee provided you use fresh roasted, freshly ground beans. Lattes are excellent but micro foam quality can be difficult to achieve. There is a technique as with all steam wands that require practice. For the money you cant beat it. Thats why 5 stars. A great machine at a great price. This is my fifth espresso machine. It is the best machine I have used under the $200 price point. I am getting consistent shots with very little effort.The frothing wand is different on this machine. It has been more of a learning curve to get the consistency of foam I like. This wand seems to work faster, but you have less control. It is much easier to clean.There is also a hot water option for tea or americano drinks.
