This stovetop espresso maker to serve you savoring the most out of your favorite coffee, now you can really put overpriced coffee shops behind!

Add Water

Unscrew the 3 parts of espresso pot. Including the upper pot, the funnel and the base. Fill the lower chamber with cold water just below the safety valve

Add Coffee

Insert the funnel and fill it with ground espresso. Remove any coffee grounds on the edge of the funnel. Tightly screw the upper part of the pot on to the base. Avoid using handle for leverage.

(Medium or fine recommended, like illy moka, lavazza espresso, no need to tamp or press, make sure no leftover on the edge to avoid coffee taste bitter)

Add Heat

Select burner size to fit bottom of pot. For gas stovetop, make sure the flame is not larger than bottom of pot. The flame should not come around the sides of the pot. Heat until the water boils and coffee begins to come out of the center post. There will be a gurgling sound during this process

Enjoy

When the top of the pot is full of coffee, remove from stove. Before pouring coffee, stir it in the upper chamber with a small spoon to equalize all the different coffee layers for optimum flavor

Would not perk, burns the grounds My espresso craving is such that I keep one of these stovetop pots every place I spend time. Two at home, one at my Mom’s, work, friend’s houses, etc. So I’ve had many. Most of them “no name” brands like this one, and they’re all fine. This one looks like all the others, and I am puzzled why it doesn’t work the same. But I’ve tried every permutation I can think of (varying the grind, how much I pack it, how much water….) and I still get the same results. After sitting on the burner…

not induction compatable this espresso machine did not work on my induction cook top. i also did the magnet test and a magnet did not stick to it. i like the looks of it as it is otherwise good quality, it just does not work as advertised.

Not sure how this could be considered a 4-cup I was looking for an espresso maker to use with my coleman camping stove. I wanted it to be small enough to be easily portable but big enough that the flames on the burner don’t lick too far around the base. I chose the 4-cup model. It produces max. about 8 oz. of coffee. I liked the bottom heavy design and it is a hair small for the stove but the flames have not damaged the handle so far. The coffee basket doesn’t hold much so it’s not going to be able to crank out a thick espresso. For a…
