Strong, creamy, full-bodied, versatile, forgiving. This is NOT coffee. It’s a pressure-sealed can of ground AMAZING. And what I mean by forgiving is this: Some coffees have a very narrow range of “goodness.” If the grind isn’t perfect, if the steep isn’t exact, if the water:coffee ratio isn’t measured in a chemistry lab, then the coffee tastes like tannin-laced crap. Quality coffee: smooth, strong, never bitter. great for the moka or espresso machines. This is very smooth. I believe it is only for the export market unlike other Lavazza coffees that are available and common in Italy (Rossa, Oro, Crema e Gusto).This is medium roast like most espresso blends from Italy. I use it in my moka pot and with my Nespresso Inissia with Mister Barista refillable steel capsules.
