Excellent tight mesh! I’ve ordered filters before that haven’t had fine enough meshing ending up in coffee grounds seeping into the water, so I was worried that this might have the same problem. It totally doesn’t! The weave of the filter is really tight and completely keeps in all coffee grounds and tea leaves.On top of that the the jar is quality. The spigot is made of sturdy metal. Not likely to break with repeated use at parties, etc.Very happy with my purchase!
