I used to enjoy this coffee I have ordered this product a few times in the past and enjoyed it. The first two bags had very nice dark colored beans. Very consistent color throughout the bag and good flavor brew. Then I received a bag that didn’t quite taste as good as the previous. I thought oh well things happen. The bag that I most recently received I opened today. The beans were light and dark color. I didn’t get any coffee smell upon opening the bag. The brew is almost flavorless. The perfect blend! I’m no coffee snob but finding a decent coffee that I can drink black has been a challenge. I must have tried 25 different types from amazon over the past 5 years. The medium blends are too bland and the dark ones too harsh. I ended up blending my own, some coffee bean direct medium, Peet’s dark and Don Pablo. It satisfied my taste but was a PIA to make as they came in all different sizes.I then tried 3-sisters and found it tastes about the same as my blend, even better. 2 of us…
Excellent! Recently I bought a French press and decided to buy 3 different types of coffee. I bought Pete’s which was okay, Coffee Kult which I completely dislike and Kicking Horse. My family loves the Horse! Today I am ordering again, I miss this coffee! The aroma is very strong once you open the package and that says right there THIS WILL WAKE YOU UP!
