Slightly better than it’s competitors Have worn out 6 or so well-loved Bialettis similar to this one.This is similar and corrects 2 problems I’ve had with the Bialettis:The handle melting – note this handle is farther from the pot than a Bialetti. My gas stove melted the ones closer to the pot.The black finish prevents any coffee stains from showing. I tried the colored Bialettis but the color still stained.

This pot will save you money. I have been using this “3 cup” espresso maker for the past 5 months. Before that I was relying on my Nespresso system at .70 per shot. While this is a fraction of what espresso costs at Starbucks it, none the less, can add up.
