GOOD COFFEE; GOOD AMAZON; BETRAYAL OF A LONG-TIME CUSTOMER BY GEVALIA This is very good coffee. We’ve been getting it as regular shipments directly from Gevalia for more than 3 decades. I now have a few complaints. First, it was even better flavored with previous packaging, each foil bag with a tighter vacuum seal pouch in a classy little box. Second, since Gevalia has been selling in stores and, more recently, on Amazon, they are failing to send promised orders. Listed as “back ordered,” “canceled,” or “out of stock” on notification…
Great coffee, easier than buying direct from Gevalia I’ve been drinking this coffee for 30 years + and am still just as happy with it. Usually buy it direct from Gevalia, but they went through a change in ordering process, so I opted for Amazon instead. Freshness dates are right in line with direct purchase, so I’m happy. Will buy through Amazon again.
Good, not great. This is a nice light roast coffee, but the flavor was a bit off to me. I have tried many other versions of this brand and this one just seems to have a bitter flavor compared to the rest. It was still not terrible, I think I will just go with a darker roast from this company moving forward. I also use a French press and light roasts tend to not do as well for that, so this could be part of the issue.
