Fresh Roasted Coffee, Costa Rican Tarrazu Coffee

Cupping Notes: Honey, Bright, Baker’s Chocolate

Our Costa Rican Tarrazu coffee possesses an inherently intense flavor with peaks of bright acidity and depths of sweet honey and chocolate. The body of Costa Rican Tarrazu is considered medium, but this famous coffee region does not lack for flavor and in all produces an incredibly satisfying cup.

The main suppliers of this Costa Rican coffee represent small micro mills and traditional coops, ensuring only the highest quality cherries are obtained for production of this authentic Tarrazu coffee.

Fresh Roasted Coffee is Coffee for Everybody

The Fresh Roasted Coffee process begins at the source. We chose our coffees carefully and with consideration of origin, flavor profile, and quality. Our goal is to deliver exceptional coffee that is approachable by everyone from the casual coffee drinker to the connoisseur.

To make sure that our children are able to enjoy coffee as much as we are, we’ve reduced our carbon footprint through environmentally-friendly roasting techniques and equipment and we produce only recyclable/compostable coffee pods.

Coffee Storage

Coffee has four age old enemies; heat, light, air and moisture. Storing coffee in conditions that expose it to these elements will allow for the coffee to lose its flavor rapidly.

Fresh Roasted Coffee should be stored in an airtight container. We suggest either an opaque glass, metal or ceramic version. Coffee should kept cool but should never be stored in the refrigerator or freezer, contrary to popular belief. Coffee beans are porous and can also absorb moisture and unwanted flavors.

What Is In My Coffee?

100% roasted Arabica coffee beans, no additives, no artificial flavors, no preservatives.

Inconsistent quality Ordered twice so far from this seller. First time, everything was great – arrived on time, great aroma, and the espresso shots and brewed coffee tasted like usual Costa Rican coffee, with a pretty good price. Second time I ordered, it took about 3 weeks to get here on Amazon Prime (“expected/guaranteed date of delivery” kept changing), and while it smelled heavenly, the brewed coffee as well as espresso shots just don’t taste right – stale beans? Admixed with some other origin? Unsure, but it…

Fresh roasted bliss! This is very good coffee. Our daughter brought us some Tarrazu from her trip to Costa Rica, as we loved it. I thought I would have to try to find someplace in Costa Rica to order more, but to my surprise Amazon had it. This tastes every bit as good, and fresh, as what we got from Costa Rica. Price is very reasonable, too, and is no more than we pay for our “regular” coffee at the local supermarket. We’ll be enjoying this from now on.

Fresh! Great aroma and flavor! We have been ordering Costa Rican dark Tarrazu whole coffee beans from another vender for a few years but the price jumped and we found this coffee at a more reasonable price. It was still a bit lower than the dark roasted so my husband said he would try this. From the moment he grinds and then starts to perk it(we love our vintage percolator) you can smell the fresh aroma! He drinks it but I just enjoy the aroma as it filters through our home. My son also said he likes the milder flavor when…
